12.24~25 Christmas!!

 On December 24th and 25th, Christmas which I was really looking forward came!! These 2 days, I ate too much and I was super exhausted, but also I'm happy to experience my first Christmas in Canada. There are totally differences between Japan and here. I'll talk about them right now. 

 Dec 24th around 4 pm the Christmas party started in our house. People came one after another. There were about 30 people in the house. Can you images? It was buffet-style party. Sorry I was completely absorbed in eating the dinner, so I forgot to take a pictures of the meals haha What I was surprised is that people don't know each other. Of course people who came here were my host mom's friends and host dad friend's, so my host family knew every one in our house. However I mean there were people who have never met others. Do you know what I mean? I saw people introducing each other, but it was not too formal. After few hours, it seemed everyone was old friends. I think in Japan we meet to eat together, but only family or people who everyone knows. I went to the bed at 1am.

 

Dec 25th, my host brother woke me up at 8:30. I was like seriously? I don't wanna wake up... I went downstairs and opened my presents! I was super happy! Thank you Santa!!

12.18 shopping

Today I and my two friends went shopping after school. We went to a second hand shop because one of my friends loves this kind of shops. We are close friends in my school, before we have had PE together. We talked a lot about boys who we like and we are interested in. I feel it's common for girls to talk about boys all over the world! One of them is from Spain and other is from Hungary. We have so different personality, but I think we have a good balance between us. We already talked about when we are going to visit each other. They said they will go to Japan some years later, It made me so happy. I'm satisfied to buy nice Jacket and shoes! We are going to have a Christmas party together!! I love you guys!

12.11 Sorry long time no upload...!

 Hello. I'm so sorry. I didn't upload my blogs more 2 weeks. I have a couple of things to tell you. 

 

 I couldn't pass musical audition;( Last week when I was coming through the drama class, I found a paper which is written about audition. There were names of people passed the audition. There wasn't my name. I was kind of sad, but I thought it was right because I was awful at the audition. So I'll find something I can join and enjoy!!

 Term 1 was done the end of the November. We have 2 semesters whole year and each semester has 2 tearms. I was given a report card by my teacher. It's this↓↓ My host mom said it's good, so I was relieved to hear that. I want to get A in PE! Oh and I got next semester schedule. These are tourism, family studies, English11 and chemistry. In tourism I'm going to study about Canada. It's like what is popular in BC and something like that.(BC is British Colombia) 

 On December 3rd, we went to Vancuber with other international students. It was a part of international programs. I was really excited,but I couldn't have enough time to enjoy there because I and my friend had a car accident. Actually I had nothing, I was safe. Unfortunately my friend was hit a car. So I had to stay in a hospital about 2 hours with my friends. I hope next time to go to Vancuber, I'll enjoy! ( those picture are in Vancuver!!)

11.24 Squash is so cool!

 Yesterday I went to Lewis center witch is a public sport center near downtawn with my Japanese friends to play squash after school. I saw a paper about squash in my school. It's free and everybody can join to play. I was interested in so much, so I invited my friends. Actually I had never heard the word, squash before I came here. Even I didn't know what that was. One day I saw people who were playing it at Lewis center. It seemed like tennis. 

 Before I started to play, the teacher lent me a racket and grasses for squash. I went to a small room. I don't know how to explain the rule×( It's like we hit the small ball on a wall and pass the ball to an other. At the biggening my ball couldn't reach to the wall, but It was getting better. Finally the teacher said I'm going to play with boys pretty soon. I was so happy. Of course I'm going there next Monday. ( it's held every Monday)

11.19 Musical audition

 Today I had a musical audition after school, but Actually I don't want to tell you about it because it was terrible;( Before today I wrote down my mame on the audition paper. There were already many names which were writen by students who want to join musical. My school holds a mucical show once every year. Now the season is starting to practice. This year(2015)they decided to hold ADAMS FAMILY! you know this movie or musical? Most people know it. I didn't know that. It's going to hold in March. 

 In this summer I went to an other school to watch a musical with my host mom. It was pretty good, so high revel! I didn't understand it well, but I like it so much! That's why I decided to have an audition this time. I just wanted to be a background singer who sing sonds and dance with others. But I had to sing a song, "When you are an Adams" in front if the teachers. I was so nerves... I thought I was able to sing the song with piano, but nothing there!! Just my voice!! And I was on the stage alone!! 

 I'm not sure if I can join...

11.18 Big Hero 6

 I went to watch a movie today! The movie was "Big Hero 6", Japanese title is Baymax. It's coming soon in Japan. I want to tell you the story because it was awesome and I recommend you to watch this movie.
 

It's one of Disney movie, but the movie that is set in Japan! I didn't know that, I just knew hero's name is Japanese. The hero, Hero Hamada lives in the futuristic city of San Fransokyo with his older brother Tadashi. ( I know you understand it's mixed San Francisco and Tokyo! Haha) Because when they were little, their parents passed away. Hiro is robotic genious and spends almost all time in creating robots. Tadashi thinks that Hiro is washing his potential, so he takes Hiro to his univercity's lab. There are 4 people and a professor. His friends have great individuality and they are creating own items. Tadashi creats a personal care robot, Baymax. Hiro likes there, so he decides to go to this univercity. One day he presented about microbots, swarms of tiny robots that can link together in any arrangement imaginable at an annual exhibition. He succesed in the presentation , but after that suddenly fire breaks out in the univercity. Tadashi and a professor are killed. There are some secrets. So Hiro divided to find the secret with lab's member and Baymax!!

 If you want to know rest of the story, you can go to google or go to a theatre! I felt it's so difficult to explain a movie story in English. This time I was helped by Wikipedia. 

11.11 Remembrance Day

 Do you know? In Canada every Novemver 11th they have Remembrance day which is a memorial day to remember the members of their armed forces who have died in the line of duty. We put poppy on our left chest. Today in the morning I went to ceremony with my host mom, host breather and house mate Gabi. There were around 2 hundred people. Some one was talking about Remembrance day in front of us and many teenager of chorus club were singing songs. I seemed like August 15, Aniversary of the end of the a pacific war and March 11, The great east Japan earthquake. We need to remember forever. 

 After that, I went to Goose spit with my friends on Tuesday. Goose spit is a beach near my school and nice place. If you go there, you can see some little island. I've been there in this summer few times to swim and for BBQ. 

 Today we went there to picnic. I was so excited because before we went there, we bought something to eat, but It was -1℃ and also so windy... I was almost frozen... You may say we were stupid, because we stayed there for about 3 hours. We were talking about own school . ( In my school district, there are 3 schools. 2 people go to my school, other 2 people go to Isfeld and the other one goes to Vanier. ) I think It was good time! The last we asked the man to take a picture of us!! Such a nice picture!
